About BRM
Beyond Resilience Method was created as a space for healing, growth, and meaningful change. It is grounded in a trauma-informed approach that recognizes how past experiences shape the way we think, feel, and move through the world.
At its core, BRM is built on the belief that people are more than what they have survived. Healing is not simply about managing symptoms, but about understanding the deeper patterns that have developed over time and creating space for something different to emerge.
Become the version of you that trauma tried to silence.
This work focuses on helping individuals move beyond patterns that may have once been protective but no longer serve them, and toward a more aligned, intentional way of living. Whether through therapy or professional development, BRM emphasizes depth, self-awareness, and sustainable change rather than quick solutions.
Beyond clinical services, BRM is also a growing platform for consultation, education, and future offerings designed to support both the community and professionals in the field.
Aylin & Kiki
Kiki is a certified therapy dog who may be incorporated into sessions as a supportive, trauma-informed intervention when clinically appropriate. Her presence can help support grounding, emotional regulation, and a sense of comfort and safety within the therapeutic process.
For some individuals, the presence of a therapy dog can reduce anxiety, increase engagement, and create an added sense of connection in the therapeutic space. Kiki’s role is always intentional and guided by the needs and preferences of each client.
While Beyond Resilience Method currently offers virtual services, pet-assisted therapy will be available once in-person services are introduced. Participation is always optional, and clients will be provided with additional information and consent prior to incorporating pet-assisted therapy into sessions.
I’m Aylin Rivera, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Arizona and an EMDR-trained clinician. My work is rooted in trauma-informed care and centers on helping individuals better understand their experiences, build emotional regulation, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
I take a collaborative and intentional approach to therapy, recognizing that each person’s experiences and needs are unique. I integrate EMDR, cognitive and behavioral strategies, psychoeducation, and nervous system-focused interventions to support clients in a way that feels both structured and adaptable.
My goal is to create a space that feels safe, grounded, and supportive, while also encouraging growth and insight. I believe therapy should move at a pace that feels manageable, without losing sight of the deeper work that allows for long-term change.
In addition to working with clients, I am passionate about supporting professionals in developing clinical confidence, strengthening their therapeutic voice, and deepening their understanding of trauma-informed care. BRM reflects both of these focuses — supporting healing and supporting those who help others heal.
