EMDR Individual Therapy

$150.00

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an evidence-based approach designed to help individuals process distressing experiences and reduce the emotional impact of trauma.

EMDR focuses on how past experiences are stored in the brain and how they continue to influence present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through a structured and supportive process, EMDR helps the brain reprocess these experiences so they feel less overwhelming and more integrated.

At Beyond Resilience Method, EMDR therapy is provided within a trauma-informed and paced framework. Treatment includes preparation, stabilization, and the development of coping skills to ensure clients feel supported throughout the process.

EMDR may be helpful for individuals experiencing:

  • Trauma and PTSD-related symptoms

  • Anxiety, panic, or heightened stress responses

  • Negative beliefs about self (e.g., “I’m not enough,” “I’m not safe”)

  • Emotional reactivity or triggers

  • Unresolved or distressing life experiences

This work is collaborative and guided by your readiness, with a focus on building safety, increasing regulation, and supporting meaningful, lasting change.

*Insurance accepted: BCBS of AZ, Independence Blue Cross Pennsylvania, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NJ, Anthem EAP (standard and expanded), Aetna, Quest Behavioral Health

**Sliding Scale available. Limited availability. Email for information.
